LAIT LAKE
Amazing place slated for future development because of its scenic charm.

Covering an area of one square kilometer and home to a string of five small islands (Ambos, Songe, Penyaok, Nyenyat, and Lambung islands), this is an amazing place slated for future development because of its scenic charm. In the distance, the Tiong Kandang and Lait mountains provide a picturesque backdrop to the lake.
Other lakes in the area include Subah, Terentang, Selatai, and Belida lakes. Speed boats or long boats are readily available from Tayan.

 

KAMPUNG KOPAR LONG HOUSE

This long house, reconstucted in 1989, is a of Sanggau Regency, There is no accommodation available for tourists; however, if you wish to stay and do some research, negotiation can be made with the Kepala Desa (Village Chief) or some locals for accommodation, transportation and meals.
Located at Kampung Kopar Parindu Sub District, the long house is 45 km from Sanggau.
